SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC - FOUNDATION COMPONENTS - DISC - PADS
08/23/200627600106/26/2005
At 28,000 mi i had to replace the front brakes on my mazda 6 sport wagon--right side at 4, left side at 1. i went to three different places--they all said the wear was incredibly uneven due to a fault with the brakes. my (no longer) mazda dealer sil-tehar in co said the difference was within their acceptable limits. obviously, i didn't take the car to the dealer for service. the people who did service it found a part missing--a clip that helps the pad separate from the wheel. the only people who had actually taken the brakes apart (until the replacement) was the dealer. so either they didn't put the clip back when they took them apart or the clip was missing to start--which could explain the incredibly uneven wear.*ak
SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC - FOUNDATION COMPONENTS - DISC - ROTOR

At 42,000 miles, i started to experience incredible vibrations when applying the brakes. according to the repair shop, the rotors were warped to the point that they had to be replaced, they couldn't be resurfaced or evened up-something like that. *ak.
