| Burring smell came from engine since last maintaince performed to resolve recall. abs light came on, the vehicle suddenly stopped and had to be jumped to start - this happened three more times and was taken in. the alternator has been determined to be at fault, but it is only days out of warrenty and mazda refuses to cover. *ak | |||

| Check engine light on repeatedly( at least 15 times in the past 12 months with the same 4 or 5 codes) car jerks when idling. replaced o2 sensors, manifold gaskets(2), spark plugs and wires, top engine clean, many times the light was just reset. it was under warranty the first time it went in but even though it is the same thing over and over it is not covered. dealer said they didn't know what was wrong with it. i could leave it there and maybe they could find something. november, 2003 to december 2003 was at the dealers for 12 different times that the light came on. this november it has started all over again. do not have the old parts. *jb | |||
