| When driving home on a night with freezing rain and sleet, i put on the windshield defroster. the temperature gauge was warm at the time that i switched it on. within seconds the windshield iced up and all the other windows steamed up. i had zero visibility. i pulled the car over and scraped ice off the windshield and wiped the side windows so i could see. i proceeded to dirve and again within seconds it happened again. i could see what looked like smoke or a mist coming from the defrost vents. this continued to happen all the way home with me continually pulling off the road to clear the windows. i have had this car for three years and never had this problem . i also have never driven it during an ice storm. this was a very dangerous and nerve wracking experience and am hoping to find out what the heck caused this. i have a friend who has a 1998 626 and the exact same thing happened to her on the same night. | |||
