| I acquired a 2003 mercedes e500 about a year ago and i still cannot attach my seatbelt without tiltng the seat back after i am in the car. i like to drive in the upright position and the belt will no go in the receiver! when i took it into the dealer i was told there was nothing wrong with the system to which i say a vehicle's belt should be easily inserted without going into the car and reclining the seat to insert the belt and then readjusting the seat for comfort. i also called customer assistance and was advised there is nothing wrong. an extension to the receiver might work but whatever the answer i need help i called your hotline and i told someone the same story but no one ever got back to me. *ak | |||
