| Cable harness and connectors in steering cloumn airbag, poor connection from using steering wheel. engine and transmission mounts disintegrated and needed to be replaced. front thrust arms with bushings had torn boots and needed to be replaced. crankshaft sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. transmission data link connector was faulty and needed to be replaced. | |||

| 2005 mercedes e320 cdi bought new, pulling into open parking space at private business location, pressed brakes, car accelerated unexpectedly and rapidly, jumped a 6 inch square curb, hit an 8 inch diameter tree six feet beyond curb. no issues with brakes prior to this incident in 5+ years of driving vehicle. car stopped, turned off ignition to stop engine. significant damage to car right front fender area. car not drivable since metal under carriage pushed into tire. no injury. air bags did not deploy, wrecker pickup required. blue skies, great weather. | |||
