| Tl-the contact owns a 2006 mercedes benz e350 fourmatic. the contact was driving 70 mph when the passenger side front coil spring fractured. the front of the vehicle dropped and the contact had to merge onto the shoulder. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who replaced both front coil springs. the manufacturer was notified and offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 92,303. kmj | |||

| 2006 mercedes benz e350. coil spring failure. i had a rear coil spring fail in november 2010. then, a 2nd coil spring failure @ 70mph, this time in the front. we were very fortunate to not have been involved in a collision, mbusa insists there are no service bulletins relating to coil spring failure. but to have 2 spring break within 6 months of one another, on different suspension locations strikes me as a possible chronic problem. | |||
