| I was slowly coasting into a handdicapped parking space at a hardware store when the vehicle suddenly accerlerated on its own. the brakes would not stop the car. the car ran over a median and several concrete poles and finally came to a stop when it hit metal, fire equipment. i filed a police report. i contacted the dealer and the car was towed to a dealer-owned body shop. nothing was done to correct the failure. the vehicle is glk mercedes 2010. the car was only six months old when it expereinced sudden, unintended acceleration. | |||

| 2010 mercedes benkglk 350. on saturday, october 16, i was attempting to reverse out a parking space in the westfield shopping center, wheaton, md. i put the car in reverse and reversed slowly. i then put the car in drive and moved forward to do a 3 point turn.. placed the car in reverse and it stalled for a few seconds then lurched backward, hitting another car. this is not the first time i have noticed this behavior but it is the first time it lurched so hard that it literally jumped one full car lenght and hit the car. i went online and noticed a few reports detailing the same behavior. is this a common glk problem and if yes, what are you doing about it, | |||
