| Tl*the contact owns a 1990 mercedes benz ml430. the contact noticed that the steering wheel was difficult to turn. he was sent a recall notice for the issue and had the vehicle repaired according to the recall. after the repair, the failure persisted. an independent mechanic inspected the vehicle and noticed a leak in the power steering. he took the vehicle to the dealer and they confirmed that the failure was the same as stated in the previous recall; however, the dealer refused to repair it a second time. the manufacturer apologized, but offered no additional assistance. the nhtsa campaign id number was unknown. the current mileage was approximately 99,000 and failure mileage was approximately 30,000. | |||
