2008 mercedes benz ml63. consumer states problems with gasoline leak and fuel gauge indicator *tgw while driving on a cold rainy day, gas fumes gradually filled the passenger compartment. the windows were rolled up and the heater was on at the time. shortly after, the gas gauge indicator began to approach empty much faster than usual. about an hour later, while the vehicle was parked, the consumer noticed gas flowing on the ground around the vehicle. the vehicle was towed to the dealership and an inspection revealed a rupture in the gas tank. the consumer was informed something such as a road hazard must have hit the vehicle. *jb mb denied the consumers request for reimbursement. updated 06/10/10.*jb |
