 Tl* the contact owns a 2007 mercedes benz s550. the contact stated that the vehicle stalled momentarily before restarting independently. the failure recurred while driving at various speeds above 5 mph, on an intermittent basis. no warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel after the failure. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on numerous occasions and they were unable to diagnose the failure. the system was reset, but the failure continued. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 62,000.
