| Tl*the contact owns a 2007 mercedes s550. the contact noticed that while idle in traffic if he removed his foot off of the brake pedal or accelerator pedal it would surge forward three times. the failure occurred every time he drove the vehicle and was idle in traffic. the dealer was aware of the failure; however, he was unable to duplicate the failure. the manufacturer inspected the vehicle and advised the contact to drive in second gear rather than first. no repairs were performed. the current mileage was 24,366 and the failure mileage was 22,895. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2007 mercedes-benz s550. the contact stated that while driving at various speeds and trying to place the vehicle in a different gear, it would not move. the vehicle was able to shift after a few moments of waiting. the vehicle was inspected by a dealer and advised him that they were unable to diagnose or reenact the failure. this failure has occurred on a intermittent for the past 3 years. he also stated that while slowing down and shifting into 1st gear the vehicle would suddenly surge forward without any warning. the vehicle was inspected for this failure as well and they were unable to diagnose or reenact it. the failure mileage was approximately 6,000 and the current mileage was approximately 22,000. the vin was unavailable. tb | |||

| Without any warning the transmission went out on 2007 mercedes s550 with only 40,000 miles on it. i purchased the vehicle brand new and had maintained service with mercedes and had all the records. the car was a few months out of the manufactures warranty yet i been very well maintained and had low mileage considering i bought it when they first came out in 2006. mercedes did everything possible to say i had not properly serviced vehicle until i produced all the records, thought they had a system that traced service sine all work was performed by them. the customer service was very rude and i ended up paying to have transmission replaced. i hope the customer service guy can buy a s series. it's the last one i will ever buy !!!! | |||

| 2007 mercedes-benz s550v seat belts keep locking and can not be used. consumer states that the vehicle also have problems with the transmission, windshield wipers, and radio. *nj the passenger seatbelt would lock and could not be used. the transmission was stuck in park, the windshield wipers would move all the time no matter if it was sunny or raining. the doors would not close properly. after the radio was turned off, static noise was heard. the steering control module was replaced. *jb | |||
