| Tl. the contact owns a 2004 mercedes benz sl 500. the contact stated the active body control is hydro fluid near the engine. the contact stated the leaking fluid could cause a fire. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and the dealer stated the active body control needs to be replaced. the contact stated there is a nhtsa recall # 07v263000 (engine and engine cooling) on the cl class model but the same active body control component is in the contacts vehicle. the contact stated the vehicle was unsafe to drive. the failure mileage was 74,000. jo | |||
