Wh/referral fwd re fuel tank defect technical service bulletin 01-21-14 received for a 1995 mercury grand marquis.*mr consumer noted the center for auto safety identified thirty fire fatalities out of seventy fatal crashes in the 1992-2001 ford crown victoria's, mercury grand marquis and lincoln town car. although ford stated this failure was problems for police cruisers, more fatalities were civilian vehicles with the same gas tank assembly. the consumer went to two local ford dealerships whom refused to perform the service bulletin work on his vehicle even though he wanted to pay. the consumer wanted the work done to make his vehicle safer. *ph *jb | |||
