| Paint is peeling, like there was never a primer put on the vehicle. also the vehicle surges quite often. i have replaced the manifold spark plugs several times also coils. is there a recall on mercurys paint that i can get some help with? *tr | |||

| Also at 45 mph there is a front end shimmy. only at that speed. nothing frightening but wonder why, will it occurr again later at increased mileage. my biggest complant is the noise coming in left side from either front or rear door. has been back to dealer four times and we live approx. 40 miles one way which is the closest dealer. i beleive something could be done if they have to take it to a wind tunnel testing station. their attitude has been good but no corrections. very disgusting for new car. i am ready to dispose if necessary. i have a good sound system for no avail. | |||

| The left rear door handle wouldn't retract and the drivers side door seals had to be replaced due to excessive wind noise inside the vehicle. nlm | |||

| When traveling at interstate speeds (65-70 mph) or greater an unbearable noise/ viberation just at the back of the hood and leading edge of windshield on the drivers side makes driving a nightmare. took to dealer and mercury has issued a technical service bulletin for this exact problem. dealer nor ford/mercury will make repairs. new parts to correct conditon cost in excess of $100.00 . *ak | |||
