 My father in law was driving my vehicle when a gmc yukon pulled out in front of him. my father in law hit the side of the yukon and only one air bag deployed which was the passanger side,my father in law was taken to the hospital bc of no feeling below his waist and the paramedics were unable to stabilize his blood pressure. *tr

 Dt*: the contact stated that the front end of the vehicle made a consistent, loud squeaking noise. the vehicle was taken to a service dealer, where the hood was lubricated and adjusted. the repair was not successful in fixing the problem. also, when the brakes were depressed, the vehicle lurched forward. the service dealer was unable to determine the cause of the brake problem. updated 9/20/2006 - the vehicle's brake booster and front suspension also made noise. *nm

 Consumer stated there was a rattling noise coming from the engine when cold, dealer informed consumer the timing gear needed to be replaced, also the dashboard vibrated, however dealer stated nothing was wrong, the trim panel was loose on the door, the left front door closed too hard, the vehicle would lean to the left and there was a noise coming from the front of the vehicle when turning a corner, dealer replaced the front frame supports, the instrument cluster was scratched, the steering column trim was replaced, the radio had a poor reception, there was a pulsation coming from the brakes, however the dealer could not duplicate the problem. ph *jb

 Rear brakes lock up during a panic stop at 45-50 mph, tires were thumping and vehicle pulls to either side. dealer examined vehicle and found no problem. ts *jb *dt

 Tl*the contact owns a 2001 mercury grand marquis. while driving 30 mph, the brakes made a squealing sound and locked when the pedal was depressed. the failure caused the contact to rear end the preceding vehicle. the air bags failed to deploy. there were no injuries. a police report was filed. the vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. the current and failure mileages were 50,000.

 Vehicle suddenly accelerated when applying brakes to stop at approaching stop light, this occurred for second time. vehicle taken to dealer.on first occasion dealer was unable to locate cause. on second occasion dealer replaced transmission. feel free to provide any further information on this matter. *ak
 On incline vehicle will roll back fast when stepping off the brakes. also vehicle is difficult to shift into gears. please provide further information. *ak

 When applying brakes to come to a stop, pedal goes to the floor. this also happens during emergency braking. dealer stated this was the way the vehicle was designed.*ak *tt

 Consumer was involved in a collision while driving 35mph, the passenger air bag deployed, however the driver air bag did not, consumer was injured and had to miss 47 days of work, ford sen consumer a refusal of liability stating that there was not enough impact force to trigger air bag deployment, this vehicle only had 190 miles at time of incident, however consumer no longer feels safe with it, dealer replaced the control module, no representatives ever came from ford to inspect vehicle, two recalls, 00v27 and 00v412, deal with air bag problems. *slc

 Brake pedal and acelerator pedal are to close together and on the same plane.twice ,the car developed a run away condition when i applied the brakes,i was pushing on the brakes and hitting the acelerator at the same time.the rear tires were burning rubber.had to put the car in neutral to stop the car.brought this problem to the attention of the dealer to no avail. just don`t trust this vehicle any more. nlm

 Adjustable brake pedal is way too close to gas pedal when brake pedal is all the way down. contacted dealer, and the dealer wasnot willing to do anything.*ak
