STEERING - COLUMN
 The steering wheel locked and the vehicle did not start. the dealer stated there was no problem. *jb

 Consumer stated there was a rattling noise coming from the engine when cold, dealer informed consumer the timing gear needed to be replaced, also the dashboard vibrated, however dealer stated nothing was wrong, the trim panel was loose on the door, the left front door closed too hard, the vehicle would lean to the left and there was a noise coming from the front of the vehicle when turning a corner, dealer replaced the front frame supports, the instrument cluster was scratched, the steering column trim was replaced, the radio had a poor reception, there was a pulsation coming from the brakes, however the dealer could not duplicate the problem. ph *jb

 Vehicle develops major vibration in steering wheel at 65+mph going over lightly bumpy and heavily bumpy roads.........feels like losing control of vehicle......problem duplicated during test drive by senior maint mgr at dealership.......existing tsb on this issue.....service writer at dealer claims other than balancing wheels.....ford has not come up with solution...they are working on it.....vehicle no longer drivable on freeways or at highway speed*ak

 Accelerating from a stop in low gear at 15 mph, felt a slight vibration followed by a deafing loud/bang explosion. dealer not able to diagnose.
