 Tl-the contact owns a 2006 mercury grand marquis. the contact stated that when the air conditioner or heat was activated, it would not blow as directed. if he placed the indicator on the floor blower, the air or heat would blow from the defroster or blow toward the passenger. the dealer informed the contact that the automated air conditioner control head malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was taken to a private mechanic who confirmed the failure. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure however, did not offer any assistance. no repairs were performed. the current mileage was 73,000. the approximate failure mileage was 71,000. kmj
