| I had the power steering pump and rack replaced at separate times during the warranty period on my 2006 mercury mariner. this was between january 2008 and december 2008. now they are failing once again. should there be a recall on these items? | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated while driving 25 mph the steering pulled hard to the left and got worse at higher speeds. the vehicle was taken to the dealership for inspection. they aligned the front wheels and elongated the bottom bolt of the strut to the knuckle, however the problem still exists. the manufacturer was alerted. after four attempts to correct the problem, the dealer finally stated that was the way the vehicle was designed. updated 03/20/06. *jb | |||
