2.car (hybrid) loses power. this is the only occurrence. the car was started and driven down hill to an intersection. when turning right the car suddenly and without any warning lost power. several attempts to accelerate failed and the car came to a stop. i looked at the dash and the hev screen. i saw that the battery was fully charged (maximum limit), wrench waring lamp was on and the hev screen showed only the electric motor was on (hi lighted). i turned the ignition key off then on, and the car returned to normal operation. at this point the hev screen showed the engine, motor and battery hi lighted. should this happen while entering a freeway, a serious accident could have occurred. |
