The drivers side floorboard is always wet. the dealer indicated it will cost $365 to fix. seems that internet forums indicate this is a design issue and not simply a plugged air conditioning drain line.

After driving my 2004 mitsubishi endeavor over the past few years i had a gas leak that i thought was stranger while fueling my suv . it turned out to fall under the recall for my suv. i had this problem long before the recall was issued .lord only knows how much gas i lost at the pump that i will never get back... but i recently had a problem with my front rotors i had a mitsubishi dealer inspect my entire suv for any and everything else that could be wrong..just the other day i went to stop at a red signal and my suv did brake but only for a second it started to slide forward as i lost braking power in my front brakes i heard a big pop and a clank as i applied my brakes and halfway slid through the light after the light turned green i drove a ways down the road and was hearing the clank sound and it felt as if the front tires were trying to catch on something i thought it might have been the calibers or the brake pads. i pulled into the closest gas station to see what had happened . the pads were fine the tires were fine and everything looked ok no brakes fluid leaking the calibers were fine... i slowly drove/coasted my suv to a friend

2004 endeavor, driver side leak - water found under the brake and gas pedal when air conditioning in running. the entire driver side mat is soaked with water. leaving the pedals slippery and causing a mildew smell in the vehicle. the slippery pedals are unsafe enough, now i am worried about the mildew growth in my vehicle

2004 endeavor, driver side compartment filled with water. water leaking into car from behind gas pedal area making driving harzardous with wet slippery gas and break pedals. when no compressor is run there is no water, but you cannot get rid of humidity and internal window fogging without running the ac/defrost function which puts more water on the floor. mold is growing across the floorboard of the vehicle from repeated water leak. dealer advised faulty washer at hose drain connection, requiring entire dash be removed. $1000 repair for a $1.50 defective washer in dash. alternate repair recommendations online require a new hole be drilled in firewall to replace washer from backside.

Like many, many reports the drivers side floor mat is saturated and pooled with water from the ac/hvac system drainage failure. the manufacture has tsb's on on the issue with foam gasket replacement or initially drilling a hole cleaning it out and installing a rubber plug tsb-08-55-007. now installation of a hose used for radiator oveflow on an eclipe now being suggested no: tsb-11-55-003. how is this not a design flaw and how is the mold and moisture issue not a safety concern. the internal cab parts are not coated or treated to inhibit rust from this excessive moisture. the excessive moisture inside the vehicle also accumulates on the inside windshield of the vehicle as it removed thru the system but re-enters thru the firewall into the floor.

This is a 3 month old car and purchased the suv new, and the driver side door locks and window switched stopped working. i took the car to the dealer under warranty repairs and the dealer wanted to charge $80 to look at the problem. so i end up fixing the problem myself in which i replaced a faulty switch. now my car's dome light does not work. also affected is the memory for the clock or radio. the remote keyless also stopped working. all of this happened at the same time. the car obviously has problems and the dealer wants to charge me just for looking at it. *la

Tl*the contact owns a 2004 mitsubishi endeavor. while driving approximately 25 mph with the air conditioner activated, the front driver side floor exhibited water leakage. there was an excessive accumulation of water while driving. the water damage resulted in a rapid growth of mold and mildew on the front driver side carpet area. a water vacuum was used for the removal of the water; however, the identical failure occurred on a separate occasion. an independent mechanic an authorized dealer were notified. the vehicle has not been repaired. the contact had concerns of the safety risk involved. the failure and current mileages were 62,000.

Tl*the contact owns a 2004 mitsubishi endeavor. the vehicle has a leak, which according to the tsb, was caused by the air conditioning system. the contact has attempted to get it repaired, but was informed by the dealer that due to the labor involved, it would be cost prohibitive. several of her neighbors have experienced the same difficulty. the failure began on july 21, 2008. the current and failure mileages were 46,000. updated 09/10/08 *bf updated 09/19/08. *jb

I have a 2004 mitsubishi endeavor. a/c works some times in the city. most of the time after driving on the open highway it blows warm air or not at all. the thermistor assy has been replaced as well as the resistor harness for thermistor assy. did not correct he problem. misubishi states (which is false) that the problem i am having was caused by the placement of a fin sensor by an independent garage. what is a fin sensor (never had this replaced) and do you have any suggestions. thank you, bill *tr
