Rolling down the rear windows causes an air vibration that is so loud and pulsing that it hurts your ears. opening all the windows helps a little, but is still unacceptable. opening just the rear windows is extremely painful. this problem has been noted by many mitsubishi endeavor owners. this is not the type of issue that can be identified, prior to purchasing the vehicle, when one buys the vehicle in the winter. why would you ever roll the rear windows down? it is expected that you should be able to do so, without serious discomfort. *tr

The h-vac system does not work. when air conditioning is used water seeps into the floorboard and completely soaks the floor and mat, which creates a very rank odor. to correct this problem it will cost the consumer approximately $800.00. this is clearly an engineer defect/flaw. we were told by an mitsubishi service rep that the following year (2005) it was corrected. obviously mitsubishi was aware of this problem. why wasn't a recall done on this problem? i think it certainly warrants one. how many other people have been affected by this? why should the consumer assume costs for something that was not made correctly? i am baffled, as to why a car corporation would not take care of their customers? *tr

I purchased a 2004 mitsubishi endeavor from dave smith motors in september, 2005. it has been in the shop for repairs 6 times. once they replaced a falsely sealed front windshield, twice they repaired the heater core, and once they repaired the drive line. the 2 other visits were for initial inspection and estimate . now it smells like burning electric wires and it is stalling while in motion. this car is unreliable and has been under repair for weeks! i am afraid to drive it because i never know when it is going to break down. *nm

The car is a month old. i was driving and heard a loud crash, the back window just crashed. i did contact the police, their was nothing that would have caused this to happen.i thank god no one was hurt and it was the back and not the front. *ak

The rear wiper motor on my 04 endeavor stopped working in sept of 2006. i was out of warranty so it was going to cost $321.00 to replace it. i didn't have the $ and since it is not a must have i did not have it fixed. on june 30th 2007 it all of a sudden started smoking. i was the worst smell and was filling up the inside of the car. i am pregnant and my 2 year old daughter was in the back seat. i called the dealership and they said that since i am out of warrenty there was nothing they could do. they would certainly fix it for me at $321.00 if i chose to do so. i dont feel that even outside of the warranty, that anything should be smoking on your car. the dealer did admit that the fuse should have blown and it never should have happened.

Like many, many reports the drivers side floor mat is saturated and pooled with water from the ac/hvac system drainage failure. the manufacture has tsb's on on the issue with foam gasket replacement or initially drilling a hole cleaning it out and installing a rubber plug tsb-08-55-007. now installation of a hose used for radiator overflow on an eclipse now being suggested no: tsb-11-55-003. how is this not a design flaw and how is the mold and moisture issue not a safety concern. the internal cab parts are not coated or treated to inhibit rust from this excessive moisture. the excessive moisture inside the vehicle also accumulates on the inside windshield of the vehicle as it removed thru the system but re-enters thru the firewall into the floor. *tr
