| Tl*the contact owns a 2005 mitsubishi endeavor. while driving approximately 35 mph in dry weather, the contact struck the driver side door of another vehicle. the hood buckled and the front bumper came off. the contact stated that due to the damage sustained to his vehicle, the air bags should have deployed; however, they did not. a police report was filed. the contact sustained neck and shoulder injuries. he has pictures of the crash. the current and failure mileages were 38,000. updated 03-04-08 *bf | |||

| My son and i was in an accident on may, 20th, 2010 at approximately 3:45 pm. i was driving my 2005 mitsubishi endeavor limited on the interstate at 60 mph. two cars in front of my vehicle slammed on their brakes to avoiding hitting a motorcyclist that dodged in front of them. i slammed on my brakes and swerved to dodge the van, in front of me, but ending up hitting the van on my front passenger side. i was traveling at approximately 55mph when i hit the van. my 17 year old son's seatbelt failed to work, causing him to hit the windshield, breaking the windshield. after he hit the windshield, his airbag deployed late throwing him up and back. in my opinion, my seatbelt did not work either. my son nor i had any marks on our neck or shoulders, from a seatbelt locking in during an accident. my suv was termed totaled by my insurance company. | |||

| Dt: the contact stated while purchasing the vehicle he insisted that the dealer convert the driver's seat to a power operated seat. after the power seat was installed the srs light illuminated. the dealer performed diagnostic testing which was inconclusive. the dealer believed it may have been the wiring harness on the power seat that caused the srs light to illuminate. the dealer ordered an air bag to remedy the problem, but it has not been installed. *ak | |||
