Lower ball joint - front: left ball joint came off while driving off the driveway. had it replaced ($391.00) at pep boys. a few weeks later, i received a safety recall notice (sr-99-002) from mitsubishi. took my car to the dealer on 7/15/99. the dealer replaced the right arm assembly on the other side free of charge. as instructed on the reimbursements section of the recall notice, i brought the original paid invoices to glendale mitsubishi for reimbursement. hand them to mark toohey, service advisor. after calling him several times, he told me he gave them to the service manager, and that the manager would be calling me back regardin the status of my claim. no call received. i then came in person to see the service manager, he said that he never received the invoices, at his request i gave him copies. he told me that he would call me back. i have called to check the status of my claim, and only get the same answer: i will be called back, or my check will be mailed as soon as mitsubishi reimburses glendale mitsubishi first. as of today, november 18, 1999, i have neither been called neither have i received a check in the mail. regarding the headlights: they have been flickering/dimming during decceleration since i bought my car (it had 47k miles approx). ak
