Paint flaw ,the clear coat is coming off. it has spread all over the car.my whole car looks as if it is camoflouge.i was wondering if anyone else has complained of this happening to their black galant.my local dealer says that there is no recall on the paint.i think it should be.a paint job should last longer than4 years.the car had a little spot on it when i bought it, but it spread over the whole thing in less than a year.sounds like a defect to me.*ak

Both airbags failed to deploy, extensive front end damage on 07/06/00. problem # 2 front disc brakes have always made a grinding noise and front end has a vibration. car was taken back to dealer a couple of months after purchase, front brake shoes were replaced and rotors turned(not covered by warranty). this failed to fix problem, i have since learned to live with it(can't afford to have it fixed). note: i believe you may have a recall on my third problem with this vehicle, although i have not received a recall notice from the manufacturer, my car loses power to my accessories(radio, air conditioning,etc.).
