Transmission warning light came on to indicate overheat or possible transmission failure. i had to pull off the highway to the breakdown lane (safety concern) to allow trans to cool down. i now discover mitsubishi has a tech service bulletin (tsb) on this issue for my vehicle, requiring installation of a larger capacity transmission pan, filter and screen, and a longer fill tube and measuring wand. *tr | |||

The vehicle has a drive train/shaft defect which is the causing a terrible vibration. i am being told the vehicle is driveable and pose not safety hazard. the part is on order, until the part comes in , i will need to pick up my vehicle. my concern is this statement true, the vehicle vibrates and it is difficult to constanlty hold the steering wheel in place to reduce some to the vibration. is this a safety hazard. |
