Defect Summary | On certain motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers equipped with norcold refrigerator cooling units model numbers 1200lr and 1200rim, these refrigerators can experience low cycle fatigue failure which can lead to the liquid solution slowly leaking from the sealed, pressurized cooling unit through a small crack. | |||||||||||||||

Tl*the contact owns a 1999 monaco coach diplomat rv. the contact stated that the rv has a fungus infection named coprinus basidiomycetes mold, which is detrimental to his health. the mold has infected the entire rv and has circulated in the air and the carpet. an expert inspected the vehicle and filed a report. the contact was unaware of the mold when he purchased the vehicle. he was ignored by the dealer and the manufacturer concerning this issue. he was advised to call the epa and the ftc in regards to this matter. the failure mileage was 40,437. |
