Front left tire wore very unevenly w/ 85k miles. truck vibrates and bounces. replaced all tires. truck still vibrates with new tires and seems to have a self perpetuated bounce - most often occurs at 45 to 65 mph, under light acceleration, while making a long swooping right curve - but happens elsewhere less frequently. certified dodge shop followed tsb and replaced original tie rod (no longer available by itself) with multiple arm damper / tie/ pitman arm parts # 68039930-aa, 52106909-ae, 52122362-ae, 52122370-ab. truck still vibrates and bounces - very unsettling! you definitely feel like you don't have complete control of the truck while it's bouncing. add ice or snow and ????also new damper parts now squeak when body leans - like when i take a hard right at low speeds in a parking lot. returned to shop. they suggested i change differential fluid (never done to date), so we did. made vibrations a little less noticeable, (steering wheel and shift lever don't dance as much) but did not fix the problem. shop said dodge is working on some other kind of fix (tsb) that may pertain to my problem, but they don't know yet because it hasn't been released. something about a sleeve that goes over some existing part. i contacted dodge directly to see if i could find out more information about what the problem and what they are working on to fix it. they wouldn't tell me anything except to maybe try another authorized dodge shop if i wasn't happy with the work they did. this is

Defect: failure of the factory installed mopar/chrome bumper in an impact of less than 5 miles per hour. 2011 jeep wrangler was involved in an accident wherein the the front right bumper impacted into a fixed object (free standing brick wall). the bumper, which consists of two chrome wrapped tubular devices mounted to a center holding bracket, suffered negible damage consisting of shallow abrations on the tubular device and without evidence of denting of said device. the tubular component mounts to the holding bracket by way of bolts. the mounting bracket shows no sign of damage however the tubular components now move freely but remain mounted to the bracket indicative of damage to the holding bolts or the internal nut/screw system inside the tubular components. the accident occurred in a confined space of a driveway. the local dealer was contacted and examined the bumper. the local dealer did not believe the bumper was designed to be break away in a low speed/less than 5 mile per hr accident. the dealer was asked to contact the manufactuer of the bumper to discuss this defective part or design flaw.

Heater a/c for 1999 jeep grand cherokee... failure to operate, ridiculas to repair. makes driving in cold climates impossible, due to window fogging and ice buildup. diamler chrysler should recall and repair all jeeps from 1999-2004 who are all known to have this problem. they should not be allowed to disreagard the customer complaints, with regards to this. this was repeated year after year, with no easy solution for customers to repair. an excessively costly and not gauranted procedure which could create more problems, even when professionally repaired, this is a safety hazard for those who must drive in cold climates.

Vehicles stalls after extended off period. vehicle shudders under normal driving conditions. chrysler has 2 tsbs to fix this- 21-016-05 and 21-009-06 which calls for replacing a trouble prone torque converter. chrysler has an updated torque converter to fix this problem yet will not take action to fix the vehicle even after numerous attempts since 2006 to get transmission fixed properly. i would like this looked into as myself and numerous other owners of the 2005-2006 jeep liberty with the diesel engine experience the same issue. the truck has stalled after starting on several occasions causing concern for action since i have had my pregnant wife witness this. please look into this.

3 of the 4 power windows on my 2007 jeep liberty have failed...once the windows fail the will not stay up. had them fixed under warranty. the front driver window is failing again. this is a faulty part and should be recalled. i am considering if the proper agencies do not address this issue to seeking out and filing a class action lawsuit against chrysler and all responsible parties for the lack of concern over a potentially serious safety issue.
