The car at 28,241 needed a drive belt, new clutch and flywheel. keep up with all required maintenance and know how to drive cars with clutches (35 years). geico sent representative to inspect the car and noted that it was not the normal wear and tear for this car and agree to repair it. this was after i call nissan regional consumer affairs office and they offer to do nothing. kristen found out that my insurance company took care the repairs and only offered to see the invoice after i suggested they paid the deductibles. so far no answer. an investigation should be done on the problems of listed above. next, airbag was listed.

My 2004 nissan 350z with 36,000 miles uses one quart of oil every 500 miles. my factory powertrain warranty expired january 31, 2009 (34 days ago). nissan is not illing to 'goodwill' my complaint even though the vehicle is 14,000 miles below the factory mileage warranty of 50,000 miles and the fact that this issues began months before january 31, 2008. *tr

I purchased a 2004 nissan 350z touring model in july 2004 and have put approximately 10,000 miles on it since then. the car ran out of oil in the first 5,000 miles. since then, i have had to add, on average, around 2 to 3 quarts of oil every 3,000 miles. several dealers insist that this is normal. my local dealer finally began a oil consumption test and noticed the car needed 3 to 4 quarts of oil after 2,000 miles. the dealer called nissan and nissan said that this was a known issue with the pcv valve. nissan advised the dealer to replace the valve gaskets. i am concerned that permanent damage has already been done to the engine. *jb

I have a 2004 350z coupe i bought it brand new in sept.2003 assortment of problems that the dealer is unable to fix: 1. loud clutch chatter while car is idling and also when accelerating & decelerating in 1st & 2nd gear. 2. transmission clank when shifting gears feels like the tyranny is loose. 3. when car is idling the engine appears to be misfiring and engine is knocking. i have been having these problems ever since i purchased the car and 6000 miles later still not fixed. *cb

I purchased a brand new 2004 nissan 350z on december 20th, 2004. the car had 12 miles on it at the time of purchase, i have been the sole owner of the vehicle. anyway i just want to report a problem that the manufacture just doesn't want to admit or deal with. basically i started having idle issue somewhere in the spring of 2005 with roughly 3000 miles on the car. the car would start to develop a rough idle with the ac off. when i first noticed the problem and contacted the nissan, they tried to tell me its normal as the 350z is their sports car. not believe in what they said, i started looking at other 350z and other nissan that use the same engine for the same issue. it turns out i couldn't find any with the problem, i have had to live with the sports car not idling problem since then. when i contacted nissan about it time after time, they eventually blacklisted me and not return any of my phone call. a complaint with the bbb was no help neither. the problem continued to get worse until november 16th when the car stalled for the first time under the rough idle. the car was running and was sitting at the stop light. after a few seconds of rough idling, the engine just gave out and died on the spot. it refired right after, but it was potentially hazardous as the light turned green right when it stalled. i was lucky not to be crush by the cars behind me on that instance. since then, the problem pop up from time to time, i would say a total of 10 times in the past three months. can you please help, the problem is not safe as the car could just die any second. please call me at 860-2268633 if you have questions. (the car doesn't stall all the time, but the bad idle is definitely there). also i would like to add the wear on the tires on my 2004 350z. i understand nissan supposedly fix the problem, but my car is still wearing front tires like no others. the tires are feathering quickly and develop vibration on the car at the same time. *nm
