When servicing the vehicle for a bad battery, i told the service rep that water would leak into the vehicle and drip down the door trim onto the drivers side of the vehicle. they said there was a problem with the drain lines with the sunroof. (this has been opened only a few times since we owned the vehicle) they said they cleaned the lines. since that time, i have noticed water on the drivers right side carpet. they asked me to bring in the car for service. on 28 aug 12, i went out to my vehicle and heard water in the passenger door. i called our local nissan service center for an appointment on 30 aug 12. thanks in advance for looking into this for us.

This nissan altima was purchased new in sept 2011. since the purchase, we have noticed an excessive amount of rock chips in the paint. this vehicle is only driven in town and very rarely on the highways. now the clear coat is peeling on the roof where there are no chips. i have attempted to resolve this with nissan and they blame it on normal wear and tear. there are even chips on the sides of the car where it's nearly impossible for a rock to impact.

My vehicle did not recognize the ikey, and would not start leaving me stranded. this has occurred on several occasions (all during daylight hours) and is getting worse. i have previously replaced the key batteries thinking that might be the problem it is not. i am very concerned that i might be in the parking lot after work late at night and not be able to star/drive my vehicle. being a young adult female this is a major concern of mine.

When stopped at a stop sign pressed the gas. the car moved very slow then sped up very fast then slowed down again. i feel this car is very unsafe. i have read countless same issues with other people on the internet. if nissan does not recall this car it will kill thousands of people over the coming years. i hope you can help save them

2010 nissan altima, approxmiately 9500 miles. car was parked in driveway in the evening, first very cold night of the year, about 10 degrees. when i entered car at approximately 8am the next morning, the passenger's side window had completely shattered. the window was still whole, no areas pushed in, just fully spidered with cracks, but still in place. upon inspection, it just collapsed into and outside of the car. car was in private location, no chance that it was hit or otherwise impacted. must have been mfg defect. dealership no help, directed to contact insurance, nissan customer service no help, just contact insurance.

2010 nissan altima. the automatic push button ignition would not start the engine. it cranked several times then did nothing when pushed. waited 15-20 minutes and then it started right up. upon starting the car was taken to the dealership. the mechanic was unable to determine the failure because no error codes registered. they checked further but couldn't find the cause and told me it would have to totally break before they could find it. this is an electrical system ignition flaw and we're extremely concerned about the safety of this vehicle and of being stranded.

Last week i rented a nissan altima from hertz. this was the first time that i had driven this car. there is a design problem with the location of the brake pedal and spacing between the accelerator. i wear a size 10 shoe and the edge of my shoe kept getting caught on the edge of the brake pedal when i moved my foot to apply the brake. i narrowly escaped several accidents as a result of this. there is no space between these 2 pedals!

Tl- the contact owns a 2010 nissan altima. the contact stated she rented the vehicle and while driving during a flash flood the vehicle was swept into the water and submerged. all of the power went out on the vehicle out and there was no way to open any doors or windows from the inside. the owner called 911 and they advised to push on the brake and put the vehicle in park and the doors should unlock, but they did not open. a bystander finally came by and opened the front door from the outside. none of the other doors would open even from the outside. one of the occupants suffered a back injury. the vehicle was towed to a tow lot and returned to the rental company. the mileages are unknown. vin unknown . rd
