Tl*the contact owns a 2006 nissan armada. the contact noticed that both tail lights were inoperative. the dealer stated that the condenser fan failed and caused the wiring harness to overheat and melt. the dealer will replace the fan and wiring harness. the manufacturer stated that the vehicle was out of warranty; therefore, they will not assist with the repair costs. the contact feels that this is a manufacturing defect and nissan should assist with the $1,618 repair cost. the current and failure mileages were 44,100.
