Driving our nissan armada at apprx 15mph and went over a tree branch that could not be avoided that had fallen, with no injury to our vehicle but caused a large leak in the gas tank. now the punctured gas tank has to be replaced. the risk of this large puncture in the tank from such a minor impact could have resulted in an explosion of the vehicle. fuel tanks should not be made in a manner that they are so vulnerable to damage because it is a hazard.
