 Dt*: the contact stated the moment the vehicle was started, the air bag warning light illuminated intermittently. the vehicle was taken to a service dealer, who was unable to determine the problem. update 11/21/2006 - the consumer was told that when the light is illuminated that means that the air bag will not deploy in the event of an accident. *nm

 While braking for a red light abs failed allowing vehicle to go through intersection and causing accident. airbags did not deploy in front end collision. mr
 When coming to a stop light and applying brakes, they failed to stop the truck. the truck had continuous motion into the intersection and hit another vehicle on the drivers rear tire area. the pedal was half way down to the floor upon impact and the air bags failed to deploy. please describe details. *mr

 Vehicle is pulling to right when driving at any speed. dealer cannot remedy problem. consumer contacted a firestone dealer to have wheel alignment done, thinking tires were at fault. mechanic stated front right caster cannot be adjusted.*ak consumer stated seat rattled. window molding was replaced. passenger side air bag warped, dealer replaced air bag module. *slc

 The passenger side air bag was lifted out of its compartment, a new cover was installed but this did not alleviate the problem. nlm

 Dt: the contact owns a 2000 nissan frontier crew cab. the contact's wife was involved in an accident. driver's side front seat belt did not lock holding the passenger in the seatbelt restraint. the seatbel was locked in the fully extended position. the driver's side airbag deployed so hard tha contac't wife sustained an eye injur and , almost becake completely blind. there was a 90% chance that she will lose her left eye, and about 15% that she may lose her right eye. the contact statesd there were visible blood spots on the air bag where the driver' s eyes were injured. the vehicle will be picked up by the insurance company. the contact stated there was a minor accident about 3 months ago, but it wasn't serious enough to cause the air bags to deploy. the contact has not contacted the manufacturer. *ak

 While driving 50 mph vehicle slid on a pile of gravel. consumer lost control of vehicle, slipped off a guard rail, flipped over twice, and collided into an opposing guard rail. consumer was wearing seat belts, but the air bags did not deploy. consumer sustained minor scrapes and bruises to arms, hands, and face. manufacturer and the dealer were informed of the problem. *ak
 While driving 55-60 mph vehicle flipped, and air bags did not deploy.*ak
 While driving 35 to 40mph front end hit another vehicle and neither driver's side nor passenger's side airbags deployed. dealer has not seen vehicle. *ak

 When the brakes were applied the pedal went partially to the floor causing a minor collision which resulted in no deployment of airbags *ak
