I have had my 2005 nissan frontier for 3 months and the fuel sending unit has gone out. i have been researching all it has happened to many of the owners. it is not right for the nissan to place faulting parts and make the owners pay between $400 and $700 to repair it.

Fuel gauge inaccuracy - nissan chose not to include model year 2005 frontiers in a voluntary safety recall campaign that was issued on 2006 and 2008 frontier, xterra and pathfinder vehicles (campaign id# pc 042). in the alternative, nissan extended the warranty of 2005 models from 36 to 72 months. my 2005 vehicle is now exhibiting the condition the condition wherein the fuel gage reads one quarter tank, when the tank is actually empty. this resulted in an out of fuel incident occurring on the highway, a near accident and subsequently being stranded awaiting roadside assistance. although my vehicle only has 41,000 miles - it has been 78 months since purchase and nissan is denying my request for coverage of the repair cost. had nissan rightly informed me of the condition via inclusion in the recall campaign - i would have had the defective fuel sending unit replaced immediately. instead i am being forced to cover the cost of repair for this safety defect. i therefore am requesting reimbursement for my related expenses.

We own a 2005 nissan frontier le king cab. our gas hand does not work and the service engine soon light is constantly on. this is our third nissan king cab with this problem. apparently it is not covered under warranty and is quite expensive to fix. i feel there should be a recall. if we do not get warranty help with this problem, it will be the last nissan for us.

Gasoline gauge not working properly in my 2005 nissan frontier truck. every time i fuel up, the gas gauge is stuck at low and rises to the full mark about 3 days later and check engine light is always on because of the malfunctioning gas gauge. nissan has offered 5yr/70,000 comprehensive warranty, but my truck is over 70k.

I have a 2005 nissan frontier, i received a recall notice at 95,000 miles for the fuel gauge not working properly, problem is they only warranty the part to 75000 miles. the issue didn't start until 90,0000 miles.
10/15/201081000
On my 2005 nissan frontier truck the service engine soon lights comes on and the fuel guage does not read the correct fuel level. one cannot tell how many miles are left in driving on the tank of fuel due to improper reports by the on-board computer along with the improper reading on the fuel guage, creating a hazardous condition for travel, especially during night driving and in mountain pass conditions in winter. diagnostics indicate a faulty fuel sensor, but nissan refuses to replace as the current recall only goes to 72k miles. this problem started past 81k miles on my vehicle. it is apparent this problem is systemic and a real issue that nissan is hard-bent on not covering, if they don't have to. they told me there was nothing they would do as my truck has too many miles on it. i advised them that they should cover the issue, given its quite apparent there is a systemic problem at hand. the nissan representative told me there was nothing they could do as the recall does not extend that far out and they are not required to fix it, i believe they should be made to fix the problem.

I owned a nissan frontier 2005 and just lately i noticed the fuel gauge assy not working when i put full tank fuel and yet the gauge still reads zero. i recieved a notice from nissan that indeed there was a recall on 2005 frontier for fuel gauge failures. i brought my car to the nearest nissan repair shop and but they don't acknowledge that this is covered under the recall since my millage is more than 90k miles and they said the recall had lapse already. i refuted that i just received the letter last week and how come it has lapsed already. but still they ask me to pay more that $400 for the repair.

Tl-the contact owns a 2005 nissan frontier. the contact stated that while driving the fuel gauge will indicate that there is no gasoline fuel in the tank and when there is no gasoline fuel it will indicate that there is fuel. the dealer was informed about the failure and they stated that the vehicle will need a new fuel sending unit. the dealer will not warranty the repair due to the high mileage. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 74000 and the current mileage was 77800.cv

The fuel gauge on my 2005 nissan frontier is erratic and not correct. i have a service engine soon light on now. the code is p0463 fuel level sensor. nissan currently has a recall for 2006 frontiers and a little research on some nissan forums shows many 2005 models have the same problem. i don't have $600+ to fix my fuel gauge. i think nissan should include the 2005 frontiers in the recall. also, nissan service bulletin ntb07-069b includes the 2005 frontier.

Concerning my 2005 nissan frontier 4x4 nismo. i noticed my dte (distance to empty) indicator not working properly. it read ---- and then 0. shortly after the check engine light came on. i was informed it was a fuel sending unit/sensor and that it was not covered. i did some research online at x.nissanhelp.com and other sites. after searching, i came across many others who have experienced the exact same problem. apparently it has something to do with the fuel sending unit. a similar problem was found on the 2000-2004 xterra models and a safety recall was made by nissan. according to all accounts something in the fuel system is faulty and corrodes over time. everyone who is having the problem is experiencing the same thing in the range of 39,000 to 80,000 + miles. since this problem existed in previous models, and it was recalled, the 2005-2007 xterras, frontiers, and pathfinders should get this fixed at no charge to the customer. why should customers have to wait for accidents and possible deaths? especially since the problem lies in an integral part of the vehicle. cost of repair ranges from $300-600.

2005 nissan frontier gas guage reads 1/4 full when the tank is empty. causes me to run out of gas when driving in traffic. i drive with a gallon of gas in truck bed, so when i run out i can get to a gas station. i have to stand on the road with traffic going by to pour the gas in when it runs out, it's very dangerous to run out of gas when the guage indicates there is gas in the tank. nissan recalled 2006 to 2008 frontiers but not 2005. i asked nissan due to the production year 2005 and identical problem on the 2005, compared to the 2006- 2008 recall, to please repair they replied no, its not part of the recall . how do i hold nissan responsible for issueing a defective product.

I refueled when my fuel gage read 1/4, when i started the vehicle back up the gage still only said 1/4 tank even though i had just filled up with 16 gallons. the service engine soon light also came on. after checking online there appear to be thousands of instances of the same occurrence happening to nissan frontiers, and xterras. i believe this is a manufacturing fault which needs to rectified with a recall.

I have a 2005 nissan frontier that has a fault code of po463. nissan has recalled the 2006-08 vehicles with this faulty fuel level sending unit. they are refusing to repair mine because it is a 2005 and are refusing to accept responsibility for an obvious defective part. there are hundreds of people like me with the identical problem that are having to spend in excess of $600.00. this is a serious safety issue as well. i have ran out of gas twice because i thought i had enough fuel when infact i did not. my son was driving it to college at college on august 21st when he thought he had fuel when the truck was empty. i'm afraid to think what would happen should the vehicle run out in the middle of an intersection. please with your help and persuasion, we can get nissan corporation to repair all affected vehicles. thank you,

2005 nissan frontier crew cab le model. fuel sending unit is defective. fuel gage does not read properly and does not indicate actual fuel level which has caused a stall due to lack of fuel when the gauge reads 1/4 tank. after learning of a recall for this problem, a search of my vin number revealed that nissan did not include my vehicle in the recall even though it is for the same issue that caused the recall.
08/22/201074400
Tl-the contact owns a 2005 nissan frontier. the contact stated that he noticed that the fuel gauge did not function properly. no matter what the fuel level was, the gauge would not move. the contact called the dealership in reference to recall 10v075000 (fuel system, gasoline:storage:auxillary tank) but was told that it only pertained to 2006-2008 models. the vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. the contact had not spoken with the manufacturer at the time of the complaint. the current mileage was 74,960. the failure mileage was approximately 74,400-bk

Regardless of much fuel is in the tank the fuel gauge on my 2005 nissan frontier (38000 miles) shows less than empty and the service engine light is on.

2005 nissan frontier crew cab. after filling the gas tank, the gage was reading 1/4 tank. over the course of the day the gage increased till it read nearly full. also, when the gage nears 1/4 tank, it will suddenly drop from 1/4 tank to dead empty with indicator light.

Tl- the contact owns a 2005 nissan frontier. while driving at the speeds of 40mph when the fuel gauge stated that the vehicle was on empty. the dealer was contacted and they stated that they have looked into and that it was not covered in the recall that they had in the system. they have diagnosed it stating that it was a faulty fuel level censor. there have been no repairs. the failure mileage was 60000 and the current mileage was 60400.cv

Took 2005 nissan frontier to fill up gas. filled up and gas gauge went crazy which triggered service engine soon light which means i fail my emissions, now i have to spend 600 to repair, 300 for car tags, 50 for emissions test, happy birthday to me.

Have a 2005 nissan frontier with approx. 62,000 miles. went to fill the gas tank and when done noticed the guage did not go up at all. also the engine light went on. as i drove the guage slowly went up to full and the dte reading adjusted to the approximate mileage to empty. eventually the check engine light went off after driving for a few days. filled the tank again and the same thing happened. checked on line and seen that alot of people are having the same problem. have not contacted the dealer yet.
04/24/2010
The fuel guage and sending unit are defective both have been replaced by nissan twice and both continue to fail on a weakly basis running out of fuel on the interstate wile the guage reads a half tank nissan refuses to fix since the truck is now out of warenty

Fuel tank level gauge not working properly, and service engine soon light on. the problem seems to be the fuel sending unit/sensor. i went online to x.nissanhelp.com after performing a search, i came across many others who have experienced the same problem. vehicles that are experiencing this problem are: 2005-2007 frontiers, xterras, and pathfinders. there should be a recall on this issue with so many others having this same problem. this could be a safety issue not knowing the correct level of fuel in your vehicle. someone could run out of gas on the highway and put their live or someone else's in jeopardy. this problem seems to be happening around approx. 39,000 to 50,000 mileage on odometer.
04/20/2010145000
 1. when i fill my ,2005 nissan frontier xe ,up with gas or it is to low on gas my fuel guage will not function properly. the same problem with the 2006 model. 2. the failure is with my fuel sending unit. it occures all the time. it prohibits me from reading my gas level. 3. nothing has been done by nissan to correct the problem. the part i need to fix it cannot be purchased through the dealer because they say the unit is on restrictiion due to the recall on the 2006 model. this same part is covered in the 2006 recall but not for the 2005 model and no one can answer why.

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan frontier. the contact stated after filing the vehicle with gasoline, the check engine light illuminated on the dashboard. the fuel level indicator also would not adjust to show an accurate reading of fuel levels and remained on empty. after consuming approximately one-fourth of gasoline, the fuel level indicator then began to read fuel levels. the dealer advised there were no recalls on his vehicle and any repairs would be at the owners expense. there were no repairs made to the vehicle. the contact stated the failure would recur whenever the fuel tank was filled. the failure mileage was 52,000 and the current mileage was 64,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan frontier. the contact observed that the fuel gauge displayed an inaccurate reading at any speed being traveled. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. the technician stated the fuel tank required replacement at the owner expense. the contact experienced the identical failure as mentioned in the recall under nhtsa campaign id number 10v075000 (fuel system, gasoline: storage: auxiliary tank). the failure mileage was 40,000. the current mileage was 87,000. the vin was unavailable.

Nissan 2005 frontier fuel sending unit failure. this caused improper readings on the fuel gauge. why were 2006 > recalled and not 2005! replaced sending unit .
03/24/201081245
Fuel sending unit for the 2005 nissan frontier should have been included in the latest nissan recall of 2006-2009 models. there are countless people with this truck who have the same problem as the recall problem, yet that model year is not included by nissan.
01/09/201040000
I am joining the thousands of other nissan frontier owners that have a failed fuel sending unit. when i get to 1/4 of a tank, the gauge falls to empty and the low fuel light comes on. i fill it up immediately since i don't want the truck to stall like others have experienced. i only have 40k miles on my 2005 model.

Fuel sensors in my fuel sending unit are bad . this has caused immediate loss of power on the highway ; as the fuel level reads quarter tank, but is actually empty. nissan just recalled some 540,000 ,2006 and up vehicles for the same problem, but excluded the first year of the second generation frontier models. it is easy to find hundreds if not thousands of complaints on the internet for the 2005 editions alone. nissan is clearly reluctant to take full responsibility for these defective sensors , and should include the 2005 models in this safety recall . thank you for your time. *tr

I had just picked my vehicle up from the dealership after having had them perform several repairs. after driving about 10 or 15 miles, and with approximately 1/4 of a tank of gas, the check engine light came on. i returned the car to the dealer and was told that it was a fuel sending unit/sensor and that it would cost $463. i performed research online and found that there are numerous other car owners who have experienced the same problem. it appears that the unit will corrode after just several years of use. i also found that a similar problem existed in previous models, and it was recalled. however, although a service bulletin has been issued for 2005-2007 xterras, frontiers, and pathfinders the cost of this repair is still being put on the customer. since this is such a wide-spread problem that includes an integral part of the car it should be addressed with a recall and the installation of a better designed unit. *tr

2005 nissan frontier fuel gauge & check service light. the check service light came on and the fuel gauge reading poorly+erratically. went on web and found this problem has been ongoing from previous years and models. there are hundreds of complaints on the web so there must be thousands who have been affected. the repair cost is $600 from the dealer, a cash cow. my truck has only 30,000 miles and been babied. i feel this is a planned design defect and a recall should be ordered. samuel baylus*tr

2005 nissan frontier. service engine soon light always on, and improper fuel gauge reading point to a bad fuel sensor unit. as this exact problem is all over nissan forums on the internet, it's obviously a defective part and needs a recall. *tr
01/15/2008500001
The fuel gauge will not read correctly and the service engine soon light stays on! ex. if my low fuel light is on and i go fill up the truck, it still reads that i need gas and this is a constant problem! the gauge never reads the gas level correctly! i have already ran out of gas once due to the faulty gauge, so i now have to figure it out via mileage! the gauge was working just fine, and one day this just happened! i have been putting up with it for nearly two years and enough is enough! i have looked online and it turns out that this is an extremely common problem with nissan frontier's! now the oil pressure gauge always reads that the oil pressure is high, when that is not the case! so i now wouldn't know if it was high or not, which if it was it could cause my engine to blow out and cause a crash! *tr
10/12/2009470001
After fueling to a full tank, i noticed the gas gauge did not budge off the 1/4 mark for 20+ miles. ever-so slowly, the gauge finally read f but the check engine light came on. after diagnostics revealed the error code po463 and a bit of research/elbow grease, the problem came down to the fuel sensor unit. it seems that this is a common problem, with quite the number of complaints across the internet. this issue is constant after every fueling. worse, the levels are inaccurate and could cause damage to the fuel pump by running to empty. the only safe way i can operate my vehicle is by meticulously eyeing the odometer. my vehicle has less than 50k miles. i can only hope the warranty covers this faulty part, because my research indicates a cost of $300-$600 for repairs. *tr
10/13/2009560001
My fuel gauge stopped working after filling up with gas one day. the engine light came on and i had the code read which said fuel sensor. the gauge sometimes works and sometimes doesn't which caused us to run out of gas one day shortly after the malfunction occurred. fortunately we were on a quiet rural road at the time, if it had happened on the freeway with heavy traffic a serious accident could have occurred. the vehicle only has 55,000 miles on it and i see that this is a common problem well known to nissan. there needs to be a recall on this before a serious accident occurs. *tr

I had 1/4 of a tank of gas and went to fill up. after filling up my gas tank, i turned on the car, at which point the needle did not register the full tank nor my digital fuel sensor on the dashboard. after driving a couple miles, the check engine light came on. i went directly to the dealer and was told that it was a fuel sending unit/sensor and that it was no longer covered after 30k miles. after returning home and doing research, i went online to x.nissanhelp.com after performing a search, i came across many others who have experienced the same problem. apparently it has something to do with the fuel sending unit. a similar problem was found on the 2000-2004 xterra models and a recall was performed when the vehicle would stop after not getting any fuel, posing a great danger. it seems that something in the unit is faulty and will corrode over time. there is a general consensus that everyone who is having the problem is experiencing the same thing after having the vehicle for over 2 yrs old. if this problem existed in previous models, and it was recalled, the 2005-2007 xterras, frontiers, and pathfinders should be fixed at no charge to the customer!! why wait for accidents and possible deaths, especially since the problem lies in an integral part of the vehicle. cost of repair ranges from $300-600. *tr
12/15/2008578651
Oddly enough my fuel gauge stopped working at 58k miles or so. now i know you think so what fix it. when i took it to the dealer they said they see all the time. so i looked online, googled nissan frontier fuel sending unit, and found literally 1000's of owners with the identical problem on dozens of message boards. so i called a few more dealers and repair shops and they said the same thing that i have read and heard; that they were fixing them all the time. so i came to the conclusion that the problem is systemic to all years since 01 for the nissan frontier and xterra (they are essentially the same vehicle- just shaped differently). anyway if you can light a fire under someone's butt over there at nissan to institute a recall i certainly would appreciate it. *tr

My 2005 nissan frontier service engine light is coming on and the gas gauge does not work. i have verified that this is not subject to a recall in my model vehicle but is subject to an earlier model yr recall. after filling up my gas gauge goes to empty until i have driven approx 125 mile and then it goes to three quarters of a tank. nissan is aware of the problem and has issued service bulletin # ntb07-69a for its dealers but has not chosen to fix the issue. *tr

10 months ago my 05 nissan frontier had the check engine light come on. turns out is was the fuel sensor. now the fuel sensor doesn't work. i have researched this and it is a very common problem for frontiers, xterras, and pathfinders. i have found literally hundreds of complaints, and nissan is aware of the problem, yet still no recall. in addition to the $90 diagnostic, we are being quoted $400 to have it repaired. this is a serious concern because the fuel gauge will work fine ofr a while, then get stuck, making it impossible to know how much fuel you have. i have been stranded twice on the interstate.*tr

My fuel level gauge indicated i had 1/4 of a tank of gas left. i stopped and filled it with 17 gallons at the local shell gas station. after filling, as i was leaving the station i noticed my fuel gauge had not moved and still displayed 1/4 of a tank. i also noticed my check engine soon light was on. i went to have it checked and a computer read out indicated a bad fuel level sensor. after a review on the internet it seemed to be a common problem with this particular vehicle. *tr

12/15/2008370001
Upon reaching approximately 37,000 miles on my 2005 nissan frontier my gas gauge began acting wildly and my check engine light went off to indicate i had a bad fuel sending unit. code 0463. the gauge will not register any fuel when the tank is full or when it's near empty. when the tank is half fuel the gauge seems to work. upon further research it appears that hundreds of people are having this same problem and nissan has acknowledged there is a problem via service bulletin ntb07-069a. however they have not stepped up to recall this known faulty part. this could be a safety hazard and i feel that nissan needs to do something about the defective fuel sending units they pu in my truck. it appears that most of these failures are happening near the 40k mark so nissan does not cover them under normal warranty. very convenient for them. *tr

Fuel gauge began reading inaccurately at 35,389 k, would only register 3/4 when tank was filled. inaccurate reading subjected owner to chance of running out of fuel. vehicle returned to dealer and was promptly repaired by installation of a sending unit. no charge to owner. *tr
11/18/2008700001
Common problem. fuel gauge does not work. after plenty research, i have found out that plenty frontier and xterra owners are have problem with the fuel sending units failing. stealership want $400-$500 to fix this. i do not have money for this and don't want to run out of gas again. this should be recalled. they recalled it is austraila on the nissan navara (same as a frontier), but i guess it would be too expensive for nissan to man up, and we will have to pay. *tr

After filling up my truck the fuel level never took effect and this is very frustrating the dealer wont help and is too expensive to fix out of pocket. *tr
10/02/2008500001
2005 nissan frontier: apparently, many nissans are showing faulty fuel sending/level units (including my own). they cause the driver to have an nonfunctional gas gauge. due to this faulty factory part, i ran out of gas on a six lane highway during rush hour. with all the nissans on the road, i can imagine many may run out of fuel in less than safe surroundings. please do a recall!! *tr
09/23/2008700001
Nissan frontiers and xterras (and maybe other similar vehicles from nissan) are having a strong recurring problem with the fuel sending unit sensor going bad and dealerships not covering this part. i have recently experienced this same failure, which has hit everyone i know with a 2005-present nissan frontier. clearly a recall needs to be done, because this is tagging many, many owners for a factory defective part/design. *tr

02/01/20071
At about 80,000kms the fuel level sensor failed. i took it into my local nissan dealership and was told that it would cost about $700cdn to repair it. the service technician was very eager to get it fixed for me, but i declined. the fuel gauge reads empty when the tank is full and at a certain point it reads half full but it never reads full. the service engine soon light is always lit. apparently this is a common problem with the frontiers and pathfinders, but nissan has done nothing about it. will stick with toyota cars in the future. *tr
07/01/20081
The fuel gage does not register fuel properly on both computer & gage every time we fill up the tank. the service engine soon light stays on constantly. when you fill up the tank, the gage goes to empty and low fuel light comes on. the computers shows a reading that says -------. eventually gage will slowly go back up to full and the miles left will show on computer. when it gets down to half to quarter full, miles left no longer appear and fuel stops registering on the gage. this is a 2005 nissan frontier nismo crew cab truck with only 53,000 miles. my understanding is that it is error code p0463 and that our truck needs a new fuel sending unit. apparently there are many nissan vehicles this is happening too. the cost is approximately $600 which is ridiculous on a vehicle with only 53,000. there is obviously a defect in this part and nissan should recall this part. *tr

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE - DELIVERY - FUEL PUMP

While driving my 2005 nissan frontier, i noticed a gasoline smell. i got out of the truck, and looked underneath. gas was pouring on the ground from on top of the fuel tank. further investigation showed that gas was spraying from the fuel pump all over the underside of the truck, even onto the catalytic converter. the amount of gas spraying was absolutely frightening. the dealer told me that the fuel tank hit a rock on a recent trip. this caused the fuel pump to smash against the bottom of the truck and create this problem. further investigation showed that when the gas tank is full, to 3/4 full, any impact on the center of the fuel tank, will result in catastrophic failure to the fuel pump like i experienced. impact to the fuel tank is almost unavoidable in any off road situation. the fuel tank is the lowest component under the truck, and the main power wheel in 4wd is the wheel directly in front of the fuel tank. this problem will result in fiery death, and/or forest fires. there is no skid plate kit available to protect the gas tank at this time. the dealer refused to warranty this item the second time it occurred. a new fuel pump cost is in excess of $600.00 this is a poor design, and truly will result in death. *jb

Received warranty extension letter from nissan on my 2005 nissan frontier regarding an issue with the fuel sending unit which has caused my fuel gauge to inaccurately display the amount of fuel in my vehicle. like all other owners my warranty has expired! when i purchased the vehicle it already had around 70,000 miles and that was in 2007. i just recieved the notice from nissan within the last month of 2010. the ntsa should investigate this matter and demand a nationwide recall on this item from nissan. this is clearly a safety issue for nissan owners and obviously a defective part! it is pretty clear that nissan realized there was a problem and decided the least costly response would be to extend the warranty on this model vehicle, knowing fully well that most owners would not qualify for the extended warranty protection. i urge all owners of this model nissan to first and foremost file a complaint with ntsa and also call your elected representatives and see if they will investigate this matter. in addition i urge all owners of nissan automobiles to refuse to buy any additional vehicles from nissan. in addition please let your friends know that while nissan talks a good game, the bottom line is they don't back their product!!!! at this point nissan refused to replace item free of cost and i have not had the item replaced yet due to the cost involved. nissan refused to fix item under warranty, stating my vehicle is out of warranty! this is absured and the government should step in and help consumers with this matter.

2005 nissan frontier, faulty fuel level sensor, which costs around 700 dollars to repair at dealerships, recalls on some years but not the 05. a lot of people have this issue and should be a recall item. causes fuel gauge not to work properly and could be a safety issue when you run out of gas.

I own a 2005 nissan frontier. when i hit 50,000 around october 2009 the dte, distance till empty read---. the service light stays on all the time. whenever i fill up with fuel it takes days for the gas gauge to read. it stays on empty most of the time and the empty light is on all of the time. i have been looking on line for fixes but everything points to faulty sender unit. i can not afford to fix this in this economic time. i think companies that make faulty parts by the billions should fix the problem or stop doing business. *tr

The check engine light on my 05 nissan frontier came one last week. after checking the error codes p0463, it seems that the fuel level senor is malfunctioning. shortly after discovering the problem i contacted the dealership to ask about repair and cost. the dealership wanted $600 for the repair and the part was on back order, and they wouldn't be able to fix it until next week. two days after i checked with the dealership, i was driving home on a major interstate when my truck stopped functioning. in the middle of rush hour traffic i had to coast my vehicle to the emergency lane. *tr

After gas tank went down to 1/4 tank, got a fill up at a local gas station. pulled off and notice that the gas gauge was not reading that it was full. after riding a mile the check engine light came on. went to local dealership thinking i just needed an oil change; that did not solve the problem. then was charged $100 for a diagnostic test. the test confirmed: replacement of the fuel pump assembly recommended after the sending unit goes bad. causing no reading on gas gauge even after gas tank is filled in terms making the check engine light remain on consistently. i brought this truck used still under warranty. came to find out that the part isn't under warranty but is a common issue with these models from 2004-2007.... *tr
