| I began having a difficult time unlocking my doors with the key. then the power locks began locking and unlocking themselves at different times. sometimes when i opened or shut the door and other times while driving. the worst problem was the time i left the keys in the ignition and got out of the car. when i shut the door the doors all locked. luckily the car was not running nor was there a small child in the car. i had to get a ride to my wife's employment to get a spare key to get back into the car. there appears to be a lot of people with this problem but appearently nissan does not see it as a problem. they have never contacted me even though i have written them two letters. it is a dangerous situation that does need to be corrected. suppose a child had been in the car when the doors locked with the keys in the ignition or an accident occurred and the doors locked and no one could get in or out. | |||

| Hood supports gave way without warning; hood came crashing down. was checking fluids at the time, saw hood movement out of peripheral vision, just in time. next time i had hood up to fill windshield washer fluid, hood came down suddenly again, but i was watching for it this time. could have been killed or head & neck injury. | |||

| The side stripes corrodes within the first two years after purchase. it occurs on the driver side. also notice same defects on similar models on the road. contact manufacturer numerous times but received no reply. took car into nissan dealerships but was denied corrective action, at manufacturer's expenses. | |||
