| Locking system unreliable. locked doors unlock while parked and while driving. sometimes alarm will sound when unlocked door is opened, sometimes not. car is unsafe for children in rear seat with unlocked doors. car with doors that will not stay locked is unsecure and susceptable to theft and car-jacking. | |||

| I have a 2003 nissan maxima gle, with approximately 148,000 miles on it. the transmission slips: for lack of a better word when downshifting after being in a higher gear, causing the car to hesitate, or shut off while i'm driving, stopped at a light, stop sign, etc. numerous other maxima owners who have high mileage have complained of similar problems, but nissan has not addressed this problem. | |||

| (2003 nissan maxima)car will not start. after placing the key in the ignition, it will not allow me to turn the key to the on position. i have called nissan and there is no recall on this. i will have to take to the dealer to have fixed at my expense. i have noticed other complaints about the samething on the internet. | |||
