 Tl*the contact owns 2011 nissan maxima. the contact stated the check engine light began to illuminate on the instrument panel. the vehicle also would not shift out of first gear. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the transmission code was reset. the failure recurred one day later. the vehicle was taken back to the authorized dealer where the contact was informed they were receiving various different codes for the failure. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered to install a button in the vehicle to help record the proper codes for the failure. the vehicle was with the dealer at the time of the complaint. the failure mileage was 1,800 and the current mileage was 2,000.

 Tl- the contact owns 2011 nissan maxima. the contact stated the transmission failed on the vehicle. the contact stated the check engine light came on and the vehicle would not shift out of first gear. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they reset the code for transmission, but the repair only last for one day. the vehicle went back to not sifting out of first gear. the contact took the vehicle back to the dealer and was told the transmission was giving various warning codes. the manufacturer offered to place a button in the vehicle for the contact to press whenever the failure occurs to record the data. the vehicle was at the dealer at the time of the complaint. the contact feels this is a safety issue because the failure can occur at anytime. the failure mileage was 1,800 and the current mileage was 2,000.rl
