| Sunroof exploded out while traveling at highway speed (70 mph) at appoximately 0930 am. weather conditions: clear and sunny. road conditions: dry and smooth, no debris. no other vehicles to the front or sides so it is impossible to be road debris damage such as rocks or other debris. appears to be a product or design defect. | |||

| The nighttime visibility when driving my recently acquired murano in reverse is extremely poor. it makes driving dangerous. nissan has refused to fix this safety defect, even if i agree to pay a reasonable amount for the necessary repair. the vehicle has very dark tinted windows. it does not have a rear view camera. i believe nissan should be required to remedy this safety defect. | |||

| Vehicle 2009 nissan murano mileage 70,000 safety issue: high speed wipers and intermittent front windshield wipers do not work on either manual mode or automatic rain sensing mode. one dealer can not diagnose problem, but wants to reprogram computer @ $500 in hopes of fixing the issue. another dealer wants to replace windshield for $1,100 as they believe that something in the composition of the windshield is interfering with the rain-sensing sensor monitoring system. this is a well cared for vehicle under a professional fleet maintenance program. this vehicle is available for use by several executives and to have an inoperable high-speed wiper function is a serious safety issue. nissan | |||

| Tl* the contact owns a 2009 nissan murano purchased june 2008. the vehicle came equipped with rain sensitive wipers which was supposed to set itself based on the amount of rain. he stated the front windshield wipers would fail intermittently and would stop. he also stated in light rains, the wipers would operate as if there were heavy rains. the vehicle was taken to the dealer three times and the failure could not be duplicated. the failure and current mileages were under 20,000. the vin was not available. | |||
