I am writing you with a concern regarding a serious problem with my 1992 nissan nx which i bought new in 1991. last friday i was riding on the belt parkway in brooklyn when another driver drove up alongside me to tell me that my spare tire had just fallen out of my trunk. i was completely startled as there could have been some major accidents. i pulled my car over and opened the trunk and found that the whole trunk had rusted through. i was pretty shook up as i contemplated how lucky i was that there was no accidents. i then became very angry when i searched the web and discovered that many other nissan nx's were encountering the same problem. i did have a prblem with my catalytic converter rusting away a few years ago but did not realize the extent of the problem. i had no reason to check the wheel well under the spare tire when i checked the spare tire. i can also send you pictures of the damage if that will help you understand the seriousness of this problem. *tr
