| Tl- the contact owns a 2008 nissan pathfinder. while parked the contact noticed the tire on the tire carrier located on the rear lift gate had detached from the vehicle. after inspecting the vehicle the contact noticed the retaining clip had broken on the tire carrier due to a small crack. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostics. the technicians stated the retaining clip needed to be replaced and was not covered under warranty. the contact obtained the retaining clip and replaced the part himself. the vehicle was repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 66,000. ds | |||

| Cooper tire - discover cts - manufactured 4209 - as i was driving down the road, heard a loud sound like a shotgun - and tire lost air. sidewall of tire appears as though it was sliced with a knife. there was no pothole in the road or other visible defect that would cause the tire to rip. | |||
