| Tl*the contact owns a 1993 nissan quest. the contact stated that the passenger front lap belt will not remain secure into the buckle. as a consequence, in the event of the crash the occupants may not be properly restrained, which can cause serious injury. he took the vehicle to the dealer and a technician stated that no parts are available to properly remedy the failure. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure and current mileages were 170,000. updated 10/06/09. *lj the consumer stated the vehicle has finally been repaired. the dealer ordered and replaced the belt buckle free of charge under warranty. updated 10/06/09 | |||

| When the center (2nd row) seat is removed and replaced with the (3rd row) seat the seat belt is too short to fit. the 3rd row seat has no auxiliary buckle like the 2nd row, if it did then the seat belt for the 2nd row seat could be used. | |||
