| Tl- the contact owns a 1997 nissan quest. the contact was driving and when the contact was attempting to park both frontal air bags deployed with the vehicle being in an accident. the contact stated the air bag light was not on at the time the airbags deployed. the manufacturer inspected the vehicle, but has not been back in touch with the contact with an explanation of the failure. the vin was unknown. the failure mileage was 105,000 and the current mileage was 108,000.rl | |||

| Electronic sensor/ control module for airbags has totally failed (airbag warning light flashing) after just over 6 years and less than 38750 miles of usage of the 1997 nissan quest gxe which was bought in march 1997. it cost about $640.00 in replacing the module from the nissan dealer. *jb | |||

| When i tried to start the car air bag light started to flash for no particular reason. car was not in any accident. dealer replaced air bags:sensor/control module. since it happened without any reason, i conclude that air bag system supplied with nissan quest is unsafe and will not help during accident. this is a manufacturer fault, i would like to be reimbursed for the repair price ($800). *jb | |||
