The rear most passenger side window bracket gets in the way of the passenger side sliding door, effectively locking it closed. the door cannot be opened from the inside and someone on the outside needs to use a shim to push the bracket back into place to provide enough clearance for the door to open.

Children became locked in the hatchback, the children crawled in hatchback and closed the door, because the storage shelf was in place the children could not crawl up over the back of the seat and get out as the hatch was not designed with a latch to unlock the door from the inside, the consumer feels the storage shelf is a danger even thought there is a warning. *ak *mj
