Purchased brand new vehicle on 4/20/11, on 7/20/11 car would not start. had to tow car to dealership, they said it was the battery and they would recharge it. we requested that they install a new battery and they finally did. yesterday 3/3/11 we had the same problem. went into a store for 5 minutes, returned to the car and it was totally dead. had to have the car towed to dealership again. as of this writing not sure what the outcome will be. since the 3rd was a saturday, our car is now sitting at the dealerhsip and we are sitting by the computer because we do not have any means of transportation. just noticed a new recall when i went on this website for the quest but not sure if this is part of the problem. this is a very dangerous situation. we cannot allow nissan to get away with putting customers in danger. i am awaiting the results of their evaluation. this car was just in for service on 2/11/11 with a complete check of the system and we were told everything was good. 3 weeks later we have a car that is sitting in their lot waiting to be looked at. |
