| While driving down a dirt road my side curtain airbags deployed causing me to swerve into a ditch. i contacted nissan of north america and they suggested i take the truck to the local nissan dealership and when i took it there and told them what happened and they told me they were probably not going to cover it since i purchased the truck used and they asked what other actions i was going to pursue and i said i was going to contact a lawyer and they were very adamant about me not contacting a lawyer which i considered to be a red flag. after doing research i noticed i am not the only nissan titan owner this has happened to and do not feel i should have to file a claim with my insurance company and pay my deductible or shop fees because i do not consider this to be my fault and feel that this is a very big safety issue especially since my wife drives this truck and we haul our niece and nephew in the truck when we have them and had this happened on our freeway at 75mph things could have been a lot worse. *tr | |||

| Shortly after a rainstorm this vehicle (nissan titan 2006) was being driven late at night on an unpaved country road in the vicinity of webster parish, la. as the road was wet and the visibility was very limited it was being driven no faster than about 20 miles per hour when they ran into a rut in the road with the left front tire and that caused the airbags to deploy. when the vehicle ran into the rut in the road it tilted very slightly and then righted itself. there was no exterior damage to the vehicle and there were no injuries to the people riding in the vehicle. the vehicle was then driven to the local nissan dealership and they contacted nissan who said that the airbags had deployed properly and they would not pay any part of replacing them or the seat belts. the nissan representative also said that the vehicles | |||

| I have a nissan titan 2006 and had to replace my fuel pump 2 times and now i have rear axle leaking and i now have 2 cracked manifolds which dealer told me is very common also i need to replace the flow for heating and cooling. i am very concerned with the exhaust leaking which could only be done by getting the truck very hot which if i did i would of had to do head gaskets. which are ok. also i had to replace the radiator it had 2 cracks in where it is bolted they give and became weak. i don't abuse my truck i love it i have never got it hot i maintain it as much as possible. alot of the complaints i have read are the same a mine what does it take to get this resolved. call me we need to band together and fix this. *tr | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2006 nissan titan. while accelerating from a stop, the contact's vehicle was struck on the driver side by another vehicle. the impact speed was unknown. the air bags failed to deploy and one occupant was injured. the vehicle was towed away. the vehicle sustained $5,000 worth of damage to the front end. the vehicle has been repaired. the contact no longer owns the vehicle. he does not know if the failure was ever diagnosed. a police report was filed. the current mileage was unknown and the failure mileage was 23,000. | |||

| I purchased this vehicle on 5/29/06 from victory nissan of richmond. one week later property was stolen when a sunroof was installed. at the end of june, brakes failed and passenger air bag light started going on intermittently. also, driver seat is crooked. dealer said they bled the brakes and clutch(?). this is an automatic. also, there was nothing wrong with the passenger air bag (then why does light keep coming on and staying on?) and there is nothing wrong with the seat. last night (8/15/06) my brakes failed again. vehicle was towed to dealer this morning. i advise the service manager that these were life safety issues and should fall under the lemon law. i was advised the lemon law wasn't their problem and i would have to contact nissan usa for assistance. is it still not their concern when the faulty product they sold fails and causes loss of life??? *nm | |||
