| 2008 titan shift gear not responding, will not allow me to engage to lower gears (1-4). stays on d only. the gear shifter button will not respond when the button is pressed. according to other titan owners it appears to be a wiring harness as they have indicated the same problem, the wire breaks due to not enough slack in the wiring harness. nissan service center stated that they will not honor the transmission warranty since i have 64000k miles on the vehicle. | |||

| The ipdm or intelligent power distribution module failed in a vehicle just over three years old, with 20,000 miles on it. this part was recalled in the 2004-2006 nissan titans. the failure of this part means that the vehicle does not start and must be towed to a dealership for repair. | |||
