| 2008 nissan versa hubcaps has flown away while cruising in highway at 60-65 mph. this happened twice already. the first time it happened i brought the car to service center and they checked the installation and everything looked ok. bought new hubcap and it happened again after ~4 months. this is potential to cause serious damage and danger to other vehicles. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2008 nissan versa. the contact stated that the hubcaps were only removed by the dealer when the tires were rotated. while driving 70 mph, the rear driver's side hubcap came off. he approached the dealer for assistance and they refused to replace the tire; therefore, the contact replaced it at his own expense. the dealer once again rotated the tires and the front passenger side hubcap came off. the dealer once again refused to assist him. the contact wrote letters to the dealer, but they would not assist, including the manufacturer. the dealer later offered him one hubcap as compensation. the current mileage was 24,251 and failure mileage was approximately 12,500. updated 02/17/09. *lj updated 02/17/09. *jb updated 10/06/09 *bf the consumer stated he has lost a 3rd hubcap. updated 10/08/09*jb | |||
