| Problems with the way the defogger works on the 2003 nissan xterra.*mr the consumer turned on the defogger the air conditioner compressor started to operate, as it should. but when the control switch was turned form defogger the compressor remained on. the only way to get the compressor to turn of was to stop the vehicle, turn it off, then turn it back on. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who indicated that the system was operating as designed. the consumer believes the vehicle should be recalled in order to modify the defogger system so that the air conditioner compressor stops operating when the control is moved away from the defogger position. *nm | |||

| I have a problem with the front windows of my nissan xterra, i bought the car two months ago and the front windows stopped working twice already. i was told by the service manager that there is a problem with the window regulators in the xterras and that nissan does not have a recall or even has a solution to this problem other than having to change the same part over and over. as we all know we buy new cars for their dependability not because we like the payments! *la | |||
