| While the nhtsa internet questionnaire restricts the manner in which incidents can be reported, i have experienced many problems related to the anti-lock brake system on my '92 bravada. i have brought these to the attention of my dealer on several work orders, but have consistently been informed that my brakes function normally. the problems i have experienced repeatedly include i) ability to fully lock the brakes on icy surfaces at various speeds and with studded snow tires mounted, and ii) experiencing a hard pedal and inadequate braking action in spite of literally standing on the brake on dry pavement. i consider these serious safety hazards, and emailed oldsmobile about them. the response was simply that my vehicle hasn't been included in a recall for anti-lock brakes, but when and if it is, i should get my vehicle to the dealer asap! | |||
