 Airbag(s) deploy unexpectedly, startling and/or injuring the occupants.five vehicles allegedly experienced airbag deployment due to corrosion in thesensing and diagnostic module which is located on the floor under the front passengers seat.two additional complaints allege inappropriate deployment; however, the cause of these two deployments is unknown at this time.

 Tl*the contact owns a 1994 oldsmobile cutlass supreme. while turning the ignition to start the vehicle, the front driver's side air bag spontaneously deployed. the contact sustained minor injuries to her nose from the deployment. she has pictures of the vehicle after the failure, and is in the process of notifying the dealer and the manufacturer. the failure and current mileages were 127,000. updated 07/15/08. *lj updated 07/15/08

 While starting the vehicle driver's air bag deployed. passenger sustained a cut to forehead and bruises to the knees when coming in contact with the air bag. *ak

 Driver's side air bag suddenly deployed when vehicle was started. dealership/manufacturer have not examined vehicle to determine a cause. please provide any additional information/attachments.*ak
 Owner rear ended another vehicle at 35mph,and driver's side airbag did not deploy. manufacturer has seen vehicle. *ak

 While driving at approximately 50-55 mph driver lost control of vehicle and rolled over. upon impact, driver's airbag did not deploy, causing injuries.certified mechanic claimed there was a detonation, but airbag did not come out of wheel. *ak
