| Gasoline evaporation leak at tank hose causing engine warning light to come on. gm dealer says hose is broke at tank and only way to fix it is to replace entire length of hose and fuel tank at a cost of approximately $780. apparently, this is a one piece sealed system and would appear there is a defect in the material if the leak is occurring somewhere between the two ends. *la | |||

| Dt: 1998 oldsmobile intrigue. while driving at any speed the vehicle stalled. the dashboard lights came on only after the car stalled. had coast to the side of the road, tried several times to restart vehicle. it finally restarted. after several days vehicle stalled again. had the car on diagnostic test and they could not duplicate the problem or find anything anything wrong. diagnostic test was done twice. replaced all the gaskets, the brain box, fuel filter. spent several thousands of dollars for repairs. this problem started about 6 months ago. *ak updated 11/02/05 | |||
